ROVIRA 100 marks a double milestone: the 100th anniversary of Eduardo Rovira’s birth and the 10th anniversary of SONICO.

Recorded in Buenos Aires during their April 2025 Latin American tour — crowned by a historic performance at the Teatro Colón — this fifth studio album revisits and reinterprets Rovira’s iconic albums “Sónico” (1969) and “Que lo Paren” (1975), meticulously reconstructed after years of
archival research.

This repertoire was largely lost and hasn’t been performed in its original form since the 1960s. Thanks to the intensive transcription work of 11 pieces, the “Tango Buenos Aires” from Rovira has now been given a new life.
